Description: This fir tree is severely stunted. Unlike the other bonsais that have been trained to grow small, this tree just looks short and stunted. At the base of the trunk the roots poke out above a shallow layer of dirt to form a grotesque and twisted mass. The trunk itself climbs awkwardly above the pot where its branches spread out to form a clumsy canopy. The leaves on the branches are a mixture of reds and greens, like the tree is stuck between seasons. It rests in a plain, brown pot and as you stand back to get a good look at the plant, the overall effect is quite pleasing.
Appraise: The fir bonsai tree is about four inches long and about four inches wide. It is made of some unidentifiable material and could be placed as furniture.
