Description: This style of facial decoration hails from Klatch, the hoop of the nath attaching at the nose with a chain to trail along the cheek, terminating at the ear with a simple gold hook. This particular piece sports a large golden hoop decorated with over three dozen tiny brilliant-cut garnets in a circle around an intricately worked rose in gold. Each petal is lovingly carved down to the wickedly sharp-looking thorns. The chain connecting the hoop to the ear sports a quartet of round crimson beads to complement the color of the garnets and provide a bit of weight.
