Description: This durable-looking spear is approximately five feet long, and tipped with a razor-sharp iron head. The shaft is hewn out of ash and polished smooth. Leather strips have been bound about a third of the way up the handle to give a secure grip. It has been designed both for use in melee combat, and as a thrown weapon.
Appraise: The iron pilum is about four feet long and about three inches wide. It is made of iron and could be used as a weapon of type polearm.
