Description: The kodachi is a very short sword, about the size of a rolled-up newspaper or a long truncheon. The tempered blade is extremely straight and sharp, and although the sword itself is short, with a skilled wielder the handling of the kodachi is so surprisingly quick that it sometimes surpasses a long sword. A simple black hardwood pommel wrapped in pale yellow cord finishes the deadly kodachi in subtle simplicity.
Appraise: The kodachi is about two and a half feet long and about three inches wide. It is made of steel and could be used as a weapon of type sword.
