Description: This is a beautiful clay oinochoe jug used for pouring wine. It is slender, with a shoulder slightly offset from the body, a round mouth and a high handle. Its body has been decorated with the scene of an Ephebian goddess standing under an olive tree in red figure style.
Appraise: The large oinochoe is about a foot and a half long and about nine inches wide. It is made of clay and looks like you could hold it. It can hold about 9 pounds, about one hundred and thirty items, or about 4 quarts.
