Description: This is an elegant clay olpe jug used for pouring wine or water. It has an S shape profile from its flat lip to foot and a tall curved, vertical handle. Two dancing slaves decorate its body in black figure style.
Appraise: The large olpe is about six inches long and about a foot and a half wide. It is made of clay and looks like you could hold it. It can hold about 9 pounds, about one hundred and thirty items, or about 4 quarts.
