Description: This is a medium-sized carved ivory box for keeping bandages in. Unfortunately, the elephant that the ivory previously belonged to is already far beyond the reach of first aid. Its cover has a glass window set into it, allowing anyone in need of a bandage to see how full it is. To keep the bandages dry and clean, the inside surface of the box has been lined with glossy white velvet and a thin strip of rubber has been laid down along the crack between its cover and its sides. A vertical red cross, the symbol of Glaxos, the God of Medicine, is carved and dyed on the side.
