Description: Ever heard the story of that witch with hair made of snakes, who turned everyone who looked at her into wood? Well, this desk looks at first glance like she picked up a mirror. It is a carved mass of oak snakes, seething over the desktop and down the legs. Under the thick pane of glass that forms a flat top to the desk, serpentine backs coil and writhe, with the occasional dragonish head rearing up or biting at its neighbours. It must have taken a very long time to carve. There is nothing on the snake-carven oak desk.
