Description: This is a an ancient pair of soapstone statues. Beautiful in their design and pristine in their preservation, this beautiful pair of early Sung pottery musicians sit side-by-side, one playing a string instrument and the other with her mouth open as if in song. Neither of the figurines has been painted at any time, so they both bear the greenish-greyed stone that comes with many years of age.
Appraise: The pair of antique soapstone musicians is about nine inches long and about nine inches wide. It is made of some unidentifiable material and could be placed as furniture.
