Description: A poised, elegant stone pillar forms the base of this sundial. Finely sculpted scrolls in the traditional style flank the white plinth, and spread out to become olive branches at the top. The dial set into the flat surface above is ringed with polished brass numbers, and its centre is decorated with intricate carvings of wheels and cogs. No shadow is being cast by the gnomon.
Appraise: The sundial is about four feet long and about two and a half feet wide. It is made of stone and could be placed as furniture.
