Description: These elevated sandals somewhat resemble a clog, and are unique to the tragic actors of the Ephebian stage. Their raised heel is designed to lift the actor above the crowd, and let them play different roles using kothornoi of different heights. The shoes also lend actors a swaggering gait, which many Ephebian women find distinctly... erotic. Despite this advantage, the kothornos itself is rather ungraceful in appearance, designed to be hidden by long robes.
Appraise: The pair of kothornoi is about a foot long and about six inches wide. It is made of leather and looks like you could wear it.
