Description: Extra-wide, this akome wraps twice around the torso of the wearer, displaying every muscle and curve. Made from a thick black silk brocade and embroidered in heavy black silk thread, this akome would be rather warm. At the collar, the stiff silk flares out, obscuring the lower part of the face. The sleeves are long, wide and billowy due to the use of a lighter silk. The black silk akome has two secret pockets.
