Description: A tabletop lamp, the pewter base of this lantern extends up into an oval shade which dangles precariously around the stem of the lamp. The shade is made of green-tinged rice paper, which has been painted with delicate strokes by a wide fan brush. On the shade lie several blue and brown seahorses which dance perpetually in an nonexistent current. There is nothing on the seahorse rice paper fan lamp.
